whereas at a court here held 3.7.1701 Martha Marsh widow was admitted for life the remainder to Jn Marsh her grandson to one tenement and one enclosed field divided into several parts with a pightle adjoining situate in Colne Engaine at Overhall called Sparrowes once Jn Ramm's and after Jn Hasset's and then Math Thompson's now in the occupation of Joseph Wiltshire or his assigns now at this court it appeared that the said Martha lately died and that Jn Marsh on 14.7.last surrendered by the hands of Solomon Grimston in the presence of Jn Hatch and Edw Johnson the premises and all his customary lands held of the manor to the use of Geo Frith of Colchester clothworker his heirs and assigns forever who by Edw Johnson his attorney was admitted etc and give fine and made fealty was respited etc
