at a court held 9.6.1707 Jn Weston was admitted to one cottage with garden adjoining once Wayte's lying next to the churchyard of Earls Colne now at this court it appeared that the said Jn Weston 2.4. surrendered into the hands of the said deputy steward the said cottage and garden and all the premises once in the occupation of Gabriel Rule and then and now Jos Frith or his assigns and the reversion etc to the several uses here mentioned viz to the use of Eliz Frith wife of Jos Frith of Earls Colne woolcomber and the heirs of the body of the said Eliz by the said Jos legitimately procreated and for default of issue to the right heirs of the said Jos forever upon which came the said Eliz and was admitted etc and gave fine and fealty respited
