at a court held 20.3.1684 Geo Toller gentleman was admitted to one croft of land with appurtenances lying on Colneford Hill late Jn Bridges and once Agnes Bridges and also to another croft of land called Spilwaters containing 4a and also to one parcel of land called Kings Garden and also to one orchard called Kings Garden and also to one tenement called The Waterhouse with a yard and appurtenances once Smith's after Baker's and at a court held 9.6.1691 the said Geo was admitted to all that messuage or tenement called Perryes with yards gardens and appurtenances situate upon Colneford Hill once in the occupation of Joan Wade and Ann Pennock widow or their assigns and at a court held 8.4.1701 the said Geo was admitted to a piece of land or marsh containing 1a lying in Earls Colne between the river on one part and a way called Peake Lane on the other part and at a court held 19.5.1708 the said Geo was admitted to two crofts of land called Millfield containing 3a lying in White Colne and after this admittance the said Geo surrendered all the said premises to the use of his last will now at this court it appeared that he died after the last court so seised upon which came Eliz Toller spinster eldest daughter to the said Geo and showed the last will of the said Geo dated 9.8.1712 the tenor concerning the premises in the following words item I give to my loving daughter Eliz Toller and to her heirs and assigns forever all that messuage or tenement wherein I now dwell with all the houses outhouses malting office yards gardens orchards lands meadow and pasture ground lying on the backside thereof and therewith now used and appertaining item I further give to the said Eliz my daughter and her heirs all those two tenements with the yards thereto belonging now in the several possessions of Sarah Wade widow and Edw Goole lying in Earls Colne aforesaid item I further give to the said Eliz Toller my daughter and her heirs all these three cottages lying in Earls Colne aforesaid now in the several tenures or occupations of Edw Crow Ann Finch widow and Ann Hatch widow item I further give to the said Eliz Toller and her heirs all the right title and reversion which I have after the decease of Martha Vangover widow of in and to one messuage or tenement situate upon Colneford Hill now in the tenure or occupation of Jos Bott which was surrendered to me by Ann Appleton widow item I further give to the said Eliz my daughter and her heirs all that my messuage or tenement formerly a tanhouse with the yard and barn to the same belonging as the same are now divided into several tenements and now are in the several tenures or occupations of the widow Rayment Wm Peartree (may be Wm Peartree) and Jn Hudson and situate in Earls Colne as shown by the will etc and she is admitted etc and gave fine but fealty respited etc
