at a court held 15.6.1663 Grace Abbutt now wife of Jn Owers was admitted to one piece of land and an aldercarr containing 4a parcel of 10a called Tredgolds Fenn and lying between lands called Dagnall Hill on the north part and the highway leading from Earls Colne to the common meadow to the south and to 2a3r of meadow lying in Kemborne Meadow and to 1a of land late parcel of Tredgolds Fenn late parcel of the demesne lands of the manor one head abuts of the highway to the south and the other on Curds Meadow to the north and upon the residue of Tredgolds Fenn to the east now at this court it appeared that the said Jn Owers and Grace his wife the said Grace solely examined by Robt Kedington gentleman deputy steward of the manor by virtue of a request under the hand of Jn Wale chief steward now shown in court and the said Grace consenting 31.5.1722 surrendered by the hands of the said Robt Kedington the said premises to the use of Robt Harris of Earls Colne gentleman his heirs and assigns etc who was admitted etc and gave fine etc
