at this court it appeared that Jn Hatch 23.8.1723 surrendered by the hands of Solomon Grimston deputy steward etc all that customary messuage or tenement and shop with appurtenances situate in Holt Street now in the tenure of the said Jn Hatch to the several uses following viz to the use of the said Jn for life and after his death to the use of Grace his wife for life and after the decease of Grace and Jn and the survivor to the use of the heirs of the body of the said Grace by the said Jn and for defect of issue to the use of the right heirs of the said Jn forever
