at this court it appeared that 18.12.1730 Ruth Elliston and Eliz Elliston surrendered by the hands of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward all their two fifth parts into five parts equally divided of one messuage or tenement and 20a of land called Sandhills and two gardens and also two fifth parts of a croft containing 6a called Wrongs and also two fifth parts of certain lands called Coggs Grove and Priestland to the use of Joseph Abbutt of Coptford Essex gentleman which Joseph was admitted etc and gave fine etc
