at a court held 23.3.1698 Hannah Ellis spinster after wife of Wm Cressell was admitted to all that third part of the said messuage or tenement with lands belonging called Eight Acres situate in Earls Colne now at this court it appeared that before the last court she died seised and that Wm Cressall is her only son and heir who present was admitted etc and gave fine etc
