whereas at a court held 8.4.1713 it was presented that on 18.7.1712 Hen Adams the younger surrendered by the hands of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward all his customary lands and tenements etc to the use of his will now at this court the homage present his death and that before he died he made his will dated 11.3.1733 and by the same devised his copyhold land as followeth I give and bequeath unto my eldest son Hen Adams and to his heirs and assigns forever my copyhold lands and tenements holden of the manor of Colne Priory called Priestland and Dagnall Hill containing 24a whereupon came the said Hen the son and was admitted etc holding by the annual rent of 17s5d etc and gave fine etc
