at this court found that on this 22.4.1740 Oliver Johnson and Abigail his wife did before the sitting surrender by the hands of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward she the said Abigail first solely examined and consenting all that messuage or tenement in Earls Colne street with the yards orchards lands and appurtenances belonging as the said messuage or tenement and premises late were in the tenure of Jn Edwards or his assigns and now of Sam Smith surgeon or his assigns to the only use of Sam Smith who was admitted etc to hold by the annual rent of 6s4d etc and he gave fine etc
