at this court found that Oliver Johnson and Abigail his wife on 10.1.last surrendered by the hands of Rich Wale gentleman steward she the said Abigail first solely examined and consenting etc all that their four fifth parts the whole into five equal parts to be divided of all that messuage or tenement and 20a of land more or less called Sandhills or otherwise and two gardens with appurtenances and of two crofts of land containing 6a called Wrongs and also four fifth parts of certain lands called Coggs Grove and Priestland with their appurtenances and also all and singular their or either of their customary messuages lands etc held of the manor to the use of Eliz Wale of Earls Colne on condition that if the said Oliver Johnson and Abigail his wife their heirs etc pay unto the said Eliz her executors etc 720li with legal interest on 11.7.next according to and in full discharge of certain provisos contained in one surrender of the same date of this surrender and made by the said Oliver and Abigail to the said Eliz Wale of all their customary messuages lands etc holden of the manor of Earls Colne and also of a certain proviso contained in a certain indenture of mortgage of the same date of this surrender and made between the said Oliver Johnson and Abigail of the one part and Eliz Wale of the other part the said surrender and mortgage and this surrender being a security for one and the same sum of money only then this surrender to be void
