also at this court came Sam Christmas and surrendered all his messuage yard garden and appurtenances belonging wherein he now dwells to the use of himself for life and after his decease to the use of Jn Paine of Earls Colne cordwainer forever whereupon came Sam Christmas and Jn Paine and were admitted as aforesaid to hold by the ancient annual rent of 4d and they gave fine etc
