| and at this same court the lord granted out of his hands to

his wife one tenement called
Litmans
lying on Colford Hill to whom there is free seisin by the rod to hold to them their heirs and assigns at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by making and returning thereof the rents fines and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed upon the following condition viz that if the aforesaid

prior of the aforesaid Colne 6marks of legal money of England in the following form viz at the feast of xmas next following after this present date 20s and at the feast of pentecost then next following 20s and thus paying successively on the said feasts of pentecost 20s until the rest of the said sum of 6marks is faithfully paid that then this present surrender should stand in all its force and effect and if the fine should be in any payment left unpaid in any part of the whole that from that time it should be lawful for the aforesaid

and his attorney to reenter into the aforesaid tenement and to retake retain and enjoy the same as in his former estate this present surrender should not stand and upon this condition they gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty
