it is shown by the homage that Jn Wynkfeld gentleman who held for himself and his heirs from the lord as of this manor by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc one croft of land with appurtenances called Tredgolds Croft also Glasyers and one other parcel of land lying in the eastern end of a certain croft of land called Brokhole on one part and lands of the lord on the other part as by the metes and bounds etc died after the last court solely seised of and in the said parcel of land with appurtenances in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Ann wife of Edw Ashefeld gentleman is sister of the said Jn Wyngfeld deceased and is next heir thereof and should have the right to the said parcel of land with appurtenances who present in court came and sought admittance thereof to whom admittance was respited thereof that none should show a claim that the said Jn Wyngfeld her brother held and occupied for his lifetime therefore to the bailiff etc
