it is shown by the homage that the said Jn Wyngfelde who held from the lord as of this manor on the day that he died certain customary lands called Coes and Venors but they say that the aforesaid Ann wife of the said Edw Ashfeld gentleman is the sister of the said Jn Wyngfeld and the next heir thereof and should have the right to the said premises with appurtenances who present in court came and sought admittance thereof to whom admittance was respited so that no one should show a right thereof that the said Jn Wyngfeld her brother held and occupied the premises for his lifetime therefore there is a precept to the bailiff etc
