it is shown by the homage that Jn Graye who held for himself and his heirs from the lord as of this manor by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc one grove or one bushet containing by estimation 1a2r called Colne Grove lying in Halsted sometime in the tenure and occupation of a certain Jn Humfrey deceased as by the metes and bounds etc died after the last court solely seised of and in the said grove or bushet in his demesne as of fee according to the custom of the manor and they further say that Margt now wife of Jn Rome is the daughter of the said Jn of full age and should have the right to the premises who present in court came and sought admittance thereof and thus it was shown by the homage therefore she was admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered seisin thereof to hold for herself and her assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and she gave to the lord her fine as is shown in the margin
