it is shown by the homage that Jn Game out of court and after the last court being upon his death bed surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Barth Churche bailiff in the presence of Jn Farthing Thos Rowte and Jn Game senior tenants of the lord and the same testifying one tenement with garden adjoining situated and lying in Holstrete as by metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Agnes his wife during the whole term of her life from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc the remainder thereof after her decease to Luke Game his son and heir providing always that if the said Luke Game should die during the lifetime of the aforesaid Agnes that then the said tenement with garden adjoining after the death of Luke himself should remain to the aforesaid Agnes Game and her heirs who the same said Agnes present in court came and sought admittance thereof and thus it was shown by the homage therefore she is admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered thereof seisin to hold for herself and her heirs during the whole term of her lifetime from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor etc the remainder thereof after her decease as stated above etc and she gave to the lord her fine as is shown in the margin
