and surrendered into the hands of the lord one grove of wood lying in White Colne called
Mocheredinge
as by the metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of
Wm Pottyar
his brother and his assigns during the whole term of his life the remainder thereof after his decease to the aforesaid

and his heirs who by
Alice Pottyar
his mother and as his attorney came and sought admittance thereof and he was admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered thereof seisin into the hands of his said attorney to hold from the lord for himself and his assigns during the whole term of his lifetime from the lord by the rod etc the remainder thereof
and he gave to the lord for a fine as is shown in the margin
