who held for himself and his assigns during the whole term of his life from the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one grove of wood lying in White Colne called
Mocheredinge
as etc the remainder thereof after his decease to
Robt Pottyar
his son and heir as in a view with court here held
monday namely 29.5.1553
it is clearly shown the aforesaid

died after the last court seised of such estate of and in the said grove of wood with appurtenances and upon this to this court came the said
Robt
and sought admittance to the said grove of wood with appurtenances by virtue of the said remainder and because thus it was shown by the homage therefore he was admitted thereof tenant of the lord to whom by the steward the lord delivered thereof seisin to hold for himself his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod etc and he gave etc and made fealty to the lord
