[1631:] In process of time when I was grown up to 14 or 15 years of age my father married, upon which he projected to raise an estate for me as he had sold his patrimony for which my grandfather th[en] gave his other lands from him though the eldest giving him only 10li. which according to his will [was] due to me, which I had also duly paid to me after 12 years by my two uncles his exe[cutors] but that plot failed, my father losing thereby above 200li. besides against all my entreaties went to farming whereby he lost most of his estate.
