M: 23: God was good to me this week and mine generally in our healths, and many outward mercies and comforts. only my Little daughter ill with worms, I hope that mercy that gave her and has hitherto preserved her, will continue restore and sanctify her. this week I saw the directory, and an Ordinance of Parliament to take away that heavy burden of the book of Common prayer in all the parts of the same, this day god was good to me in the public exercise the sacrament of baptism, in gatherings for divers poor the Lord in mercy pardon my failings sanctify me: I made a serious motion to all to join with the Magistrate in a civil reformation./
