April: 1: Went to my Lady Honywood found her ill in bed, submissive to providence, Lord give me a heart rejoicing in you in all conditions, the Lord raise her up in mercy, my wife went forth, we met safe at night, when I heard a man at Halsted with a fall had broken his leg, which might endanger his life; my good god preserved me the day before; another man is distracted and god gracious in preserving me and mine, praised be his name; my daughter Mary was a means to save her brother out of the pond, he being on the stairs his sister called out to the maids this was your mercy oh lord.
