Apr. 19. This week god was good to me and mine in our health, peace, plenty, in outward mercies, in goodness to soul and body, he was good to me praised be his name in the exercise of the day: my Lady Honywood ill with a fever, god heard me for her, in respect of her deliverance and child, I hope he will also in this particular, answer prayers I met their Lieut. Col. Grimes who received an 100li. gift from the Parliament for the news of Exeter, which he brought to the houses.
