12: A frost, and pleasant day, at night I was subpoenaed into the Chancery by my Uncle Hudson , and Ri: Josselin : the lord order things for the best, and give me a heart of peace and love, and let not strifes always continue, it was in the business of Josephs land.

These days my dear wife was very ill, a great looseness took her, which was for good.
