August: 22: This week the lord was merciful to me and mine in our peace and many outward mercies, this week the lord exercised me with a rheum and soreness in the inward corner of my left eye, but in a week finely well: my wife quickened this week, the lord in mercy carry her safely through, and give grace unto my little ones oh make them yours, I had great experience of the weakness of my heart to resist temptations, oh lord undertake for me, and sanctify my soul for thy name sake, the lord in some measure with me on his own day his name be blessed and praised for the same,
