May: 1; This day I promised Tho: Cowell the 10li. I borrowed of him, which by gods good providence I got together ready for him, that I might carefully perform my promise to him; but he came not to me for his money, this day we had a comfortable meeting of divers persons at Goodman Johnsons , where we had loving and sweet discourse especially concerning this subject; the Almightiness of god, a stay in sinking and trouble some times, we went on visiting divers of our neighbours this day, heard a report of a tumult at London: Norwich: and this day at Colchester, and through mercy all this time we are in peace:. that at Colchester more in fear and rumour than anything else, upon which the Trayne band was raised
