Novemb: 12: This week the lord was good and merciful to me and mine, in our peace and plenty, and health, my navel was sore and moist, but it dried up again and so continued at present, the lord be magnified for this goodness towards me, oh heal it perfectly for thy goodness sake I entreat thee; this week the lord kept me from being surprised with my old vanities blessed be his name, oh suffer no corruption to have dominion over me, but let me proceed in grace, in wisdom, in patience for you know all my weaknesses: this week I did somewhat in my studies, lord increase my knowledge especially of thy self; and of your christ and of myself, and let me by useful in your paths, and make me serviceable for the good of many souls: the lord was good to me in the Sabbath, I had a good providence in the help of Mr Rogers ; one part of the day.
