16. sent a letter to Major Haines to send into New England containing three sheets in my small hand, being a relation of affairs foreign, and domestic, from the rendition of Colchester until April. 16. 1650. this present day, the Major is my special friend, and I do not think any service too much to do for him, the good Lord in mercy bless him, and those that have been instruments of good to me either for soul or body. yesterday my Lady Honywoods , and the high-sheriff's Coaches were both overturned their Ladies and friends in them, and no hurt done to gods name be the praise and glory. the season was very warm and comfortable the spring comes on very cheerfully.
