October. 13. This week past the lord was very good to me, and my company in many outward mercies, my wheezing continues, but my cold is not so bad my chest was not very much stuffed, the continuance of it was the trouble or rather the fear, my wife made me a syrup of steeped hissop in hissop water, which through mercy did me good,

The lord good to me this week so that my work was done without hurt or discontent, the lord kept me more free from divers annoyances of heart than formerly, the lord in his due time put all corruptions under me, the lord gave me mercy in respect of my navel, which though it fared as if it were ill, yet I did not find it so, neither did my issue though it appeared not at stated times as formerly cause any soreness, the Lord was good to me in the work and duty of the Sabbath, he engaged my heart in love to him
