5. I preached this day at Pauls in London by order from the Lord Mayor. the audience was great, my text was Luke. 21. v. 28. I dined with the Lord Mayor, and by his entreaty preached before him, at his own church, the lord was good to me in the work and service of the day. this was the first time that I preached in the city of London.
