Feb: 8: This week past the lord renewed his goodness to us all in our health, and preservation and yet some families still afflicted with smallpox, and others taken anew, the lord has given mine the spice of the itch, which I hope he will sanctify and turn for their good. the lord was good to me in his presence with me in my work and employment, lord stand by me therein, and let me be accepted of thee therein(.) the Lord good to me in helping me against old motions of my vain heart, I still daily see my strength is to wait on Jesus, and I hope he will be my strength.
