June: 26: The Lord was good to me, and mine in our health, my steps in some measure upheld by him yet I do not find that sweet refreshing from god in his word that I have done, my family occasions do rather hinder me in the way of the lord, I rule my soul on thee for in thee only do I put my whole trust, and confidence, my heart is sensible that the last days draw near, and that sad things are determined against the things of god, help me oh lord in the discerning of thy mind and will to keep close to me, and use me in the work of my mystery, as an instrument to do souls good I entreat thee.
