July. 3. The Lord was good in many respects to me and mine, my heart I hope is touched from himself, resolving to abide by him, and his ways, and never depart from following of him, though he strip me naked, I am resolved to abide by his worship though he give me the bread, and the water of affliction not to turn aside from him, god good to us this day in his word at his table, oh when shall my wretched heart being above these things delight itself only in the lord.
