Jan. 28: weather dry fair, beyond what ever was in January, scarcely any frost, the lord good to me in many outward mercies wherein I rejoice; the lord good to my spirit in making me sensible of the evils of the times, and watchful over my heart in some measure, the lord watch over me by his grace in the word and prayer, enlarging my heart and affections for which I desire to bless my god who does remember me in my condition

Mr Eldred with us, he used me with much respect, and kindness, and showed much love to all my children, the good lord return it, into his bosom.
