Feb: 12. God good to me and mine in outward things, I meet with trials in my condition, and find it hard to see it good and bear them patiently, and to pray for good in them, believingly, some former mind vanities appeared again, oh how apt my heart is to hanker after them, when shall I loath every appearance of evil, and find out Satan in all his wiles; the weather very dry, and frosty, and cold. Sometimes my heart let out to discover the people whither their corruptions in gods worship tend to prepare them to persecute god in his most dearest, and most precious things, the lord fit me to suffer.
