Ap: 2. The week past god good to me, and yet my heart wonderfully out of frame, oh that I could fear him for his patience and goodness to the sons of men, the lord gave sweet rains as if he promised us plenty, oh that our spirits were moisture in the sense of his dealing, heard there would be an assembly, and that there is speech of a high title for the protector viz Emperor of the South. the lord give me low and humble heart, and do me good in my generation; I am come to a year which is likely to bring forth notable councils, I will mind them, its said Cromwell was born in 1600. the same year in which K(ing) Charles was born,
