May. 28. week past, dry but not excessively hot, signs of rain, but past away. the lord was good in many things to me, and to mine, wherein I desire to bless his holy name(.) my wife grows heavy, and wearisome, the lord give her a comfortable lying down, my spirit very much partaking of the deadness, and drowsy inactiveness of the days wherein I live, oh lord revive, and engage my heart more to thy self, my people and self I apprehend very dead under the ministry in all places, and here, the lord recover us, and make us lively and fervent in the work of the lord.
