This week god many ways good to me in sparing my dear wife , who much feared herself, I find my heart as much annoyed by vain thoughts, as ever, in other persons acting of them, lord you see how busy Satan is with me, I pray help me against him, by thy strength and grace for through my corruption he is too hard for me, this day thunder in many places, and sweet rains with us.
