Jan: 4: preached at Wakes, some affections stirring, at night dreamed one came to me and told me that Thurloe was turned Jew; I answered perhaps it was a mistake, he might declare he was a Jew born, the Jews having lived here, and he pretend by old writings his pedigree from them, to ingratiate with the Jews, or some compliance with them.
