April. 1: The week past very cold and dry with eastern winds but I trust in god, it is good and healthful weather. I was very tender, as being aguish from a great cold, and the pain and swelling of my gums, the lord was good to me in giving me strength for the Sabbath, oh that he would be with me therein continually blessing of me.
