Nov: 25. God good to us in our outward mercies, the season, cold frost, and a great snow, said Mr Marshal is dead, no means can preserve life, nor hold the spirit, when god bids it return to him, and its well it can, for others, yes we ourselves are loath to go home(.) god good to me in inward workings to raise up my spirit to a confidence in his mercy to all eternity. said H.
