Jan. 20. God good to me in my relations, the lord make me steady and upright with him, days are sad; the only comfort of souls is in god through christ, oh that my heart were fixed and stayed on god at all times, oh that my heart were real to god at all times and kept up in my integrity. god was good to me in the word and work of the Sabbath, and in the quiet of it for which I bless his name
