Jan: 25. the Lord was good to me, and mine in many mercies, the lord sanctify all unto me, that I may enjoy him in them, and have my heart raised up, and engaged in all and by all faithfully to serve him; I heard nothing certain of Dr Wright , by whose death the school goes from me, lord how ever you deal with me therein, you shall be my god, my heart I hope shall be more laborious in thy work, for you are my life, and my hope, and my crown, I am in hope his life is preserved, he is on my heart to pray for him, and I shall praise thee oh god if his life be continued yet awhile, thy time is best, and in thy will I will rest. good was god to me in the word pressing people to hold fast our profession, lord help and enable me to do it.
