April. 12. I awakened this morning dreaming that Mr Sparrow preaching at Wakes I saw Mr Tompson and his wife and told them, the strange news, that the man under pretence of acting against blasphemy, had at a meeting of the rulers, given in to arise and act against the ministry, the lord good to me in many mercies, my heart very calm, lord keep me from sullying vile thoughts, the word this day was an awakening word lord make it so and make it a blessing, many lately afflicted hearers a sermon for them, let it take place on their hearts I pray thee,
