Oct: 31: God good to us in many mercies, my dear wife very ill, I apprehend it to be much cold settled in her joints, the lord in mercy restore her, if a wife so needful no house without her, what is christ Jesus to the heart of a sinner nothing indeed without him, the season was very pleasant only sharp with cold frost. I am entering into treaty, about my son for London, the good lord show mercy to me and my child therein, god was good to us in the Sabbath for which my soul blesses him.
