Jan: 30. God good to us in many outward enjoyments, in some sweet soul refreshings in his word, soul concernments are the chief, lord let them be most looked after(.) I earnestly sought god to direct me in my going or staying at Colne, things seem to work out my remove, and my heart is much loosened from the place lord if souls require me here, and thy glory lie most in it, let me not go but let me not be barren or unfruitful in thy work.
