6. Mr Pelham giving me leave I went and gathered. elms. ashes. crab stocks, and about half hundred wood set. the moon at full this day. but its god must prosper all our endeavours, he was good to me in the journey, but my heart is not sweetened always with him but turns aside to empty vanities. lord pardon me in mercy. this 7. day I set 32 crab stocks in the new orchard: 11. in my own. 27. trees in Brockhole and 20 in the field behind my barn.
