Jan: 13. God good to us in manifold mercies, the season is very open, no cold, only divers winds, some stirs at London, lord do not give us up to error it makes men mad. how furious were the fifth monarchy men at London a few days past, running greedily into ruin, lord let not particular mens folly bring a general trouble on them that desire to fear thy name and be quiet. this day god was good to me in the word, deliver me from my own heart, and let me be yours to preserve continually.
