9. Cold, dry yet cheerful began to sow barley. 8. in Pitchars ; things calm, most secure but surely the papists have some great thing in doing.

[barley] Sowed part of Pitchards dry, but 13. a wonderful rain on it. so continues 14: 15. a wonderful shower of hail. Foster a robber of our town taken here supposed he intended to have robbed Mrs Ellistons . 14 of us at sacrament. the lord accept us, whom we praise for a heart to own him, his word was very good give me a bottom sincerity.
