containing by estimation 1r as the said piece of land by hedges and ditches is enclosed on the west part of the said land called
Stacies
and abutting upon the lane leading from a certain post called Curd Stile on the kings highway leading towards Coggeshall as is shown by a certain copy of court roll now it is shown by the said homage that after the last court and before this court the aforesaid
Rich Sampford
died seised of the premises and that
Rich Sampford
is his eldest son and next heir to whom the said
Rich
present here in court seisin thereof is granted to have for himself and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and fealty and thus was admitted tenant of the premises
