the entire fine 30li whereas at a view with court here held monday being 1.6.1568 (sic) Rich Parker son and heir of Nich Parker was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one messuage with garden adjoining with appurtenances sometime of Jn Sloe afterwards of Rich Browne and later of Wm Davison as by metes etc with a way pertaining to the same messuage to carry and recarry from the garden of the said messuage into the lane called Barecroft Lane as by the roll of the same said court shown in full court now at this court it is shown by the homage that the said Rich is his son and next heir and should have the right to the premises who the same said Rich present here in court in person came and sought for himself admittance to the premises and because the court considered his claim to be true therefore the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to have to himself and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as shown in the margin and he is admitted thereof tenant and his fealty is respited and because the said Rich Parker is under age therefore custody of his body and of the said lands is committed to Margt Parker his mother to have to herself and her assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed until he shall reach the full age of twenty one years and then to return to him the profits of the said lands rendering the accounts and finding for him in the meantime food and clothing and all other necessaries whatsoever and the said Margt present in court made fealty and was admitted and her fine for such custody was pardoned by the lord
